Korçë (definite Albanian form: Korça), is a city and municipality in southeastern Albania, and the seat of Korçë County. It was formed at the 2015 local government reform by the merger of the former municipalities Drenovë, Korçë, Lekas, Mollaj, Qendër Bulgarec, Vithkuq, Voskop and Voskopojë, that became municipal units. The seat of the municipality is the city Korçë. The total population is 75,994 (2011 census), in a total area of 805.99 km2 (311.19 sq mi). The population of the former municipality at the 2011 census was 51,152. It is the sixth largest city in Albania. It stands on a plateau some 850 m (2,789 ft) above sea level, surrounded by the Morava Mountains. Korçë is named differently in other languages: Aromanian : Curceaua or Corceao ; Bulgarian : Горица, Goritsa ; Greek : Κορυτσά , Korytsa ; Italian : Coriza ; Macedonian : Горица, Goritsa ; Turkish : Görice . Pogradec Pogradec is a city and municipality in central Albania , situated on the shores the Ohrid lake . The lake is one of Europe's deepest and oldest lakes. It is located in the County of Korçë . This city is surrounded by hills on the southern and western side. The lake is in the eastern and northern side of the city. The highway linking to Tirana , Elbasan and Korçë passes through the city. It is located southeast of Elbasan , southwest of Ohrid in the Republic of Macedonia , north of Korçë and northwest of Florina in Greece. It was formed at the 2015 local government reform by the merger of the former municipalities Buçimas , Çërravë , Dardhas , Pogradec, Proptisht , Trebinjë , Udenisht and Velçan , that became municipal units. The seat of the municipality is the town Pogradec. The total population is 61,530 (2011 census), in a total area of 594.77 km 2 . The population of the former municipality at the 2011 census was 20,848.

The Forty Saints Monastery ( Albanian : Rrënojat e Manastirit të 40 Shenjtorëve , Greek : Ιερά Μονή Σαράντα Μαρτύρων ) is a ruined monastery in Sarandë , Albania , dedicated to the Forty Martyrs of Sebaste . The monastery dates back to the 6th century AD, and it is thought to have been an important regional pilgrimage site. The second floor of the monastery was destroyed during World War II's Allies bombings. During the prohibition of religion in Albania, the monastery was declared as a Cultural Monument . _______ 〜 _______ The 40 Martyrs of Sebaste (or 40 Christian Soldiers) were a group of soldiers who were kills near Sebaste, Armenia for refusing to renounce their Christian reliagion. A beautiful beach situated in the south of Dhërmi Beach and Borsh Beach. Simply stunning! Jalë is one of the most beautiful beaches in Albania. It is located 40 km from Vlorë, you can reach there by usign your car. I'm not sure if there is any bus which can get you there. The road till there has many panoramic views that you will enjoy and of course you can stop there to take pictures. There are many activities for the youngers, which are organised each summer in Jalë. If you'll go once you will have the desire to not lost any of them. There are campings where many people, not only Albanians, but also tourists from many places of the world, gather together every summer. You can find there some small restaurants or pizzeries, with very reasonable prices and delicious food. The are also places to play volleyball on the beach.
